Well, I’m down about 20 lbs now. However, the rate of progress is slowing down considerably. These first twenty pounds were pretty easy. But, each pound is now getting harder to get. I’m going to have to take additional steps if I want to get those next twenty pounds.
So far, I’ve concentrated on portion control, drinking water, and cutting out sweets and unnatural sugars (i.e. anything with added sugars, not fruit). But, I’ve still had a few greasy meals, and probably would be more restrictive with carbs. I’m not talking about going Atkins. Been there….doesn’t work long term. But, I could cut a few more carbs out.
Also, I haven’t done a lick of exercise so far. I’ve only concentrated on diet. I haven’t walked, or done a single push up beyond what I have to do as part of my day to day life. I think that this is going to have to change if I want to lose those next twenty.
So, whats up with the blog? Well, I’ve been concentrating on my new job, kids, and trying to get ready for grad school. I really haven’t had much time. But, I do have a new set of posts that will be coming out soon. Hang tight. I’ll still be here.
